DJI refutes claims of exiting US market and relocating headquarters · TechNode


Recent reports suggest that Chinese drone maker DJI plans to withdraw from the US market due to a verdict in a US patent case and relocate its headquarters from Shenzhen to Xi’an, the capital city of Shaanxi Province in central China. However, on Monday, a DJI spokesperson refuted both possibilities. “As global customers are equally important to us, DJI will not abandon the US market,” the spokesperson stated. In April, US aerospace company Textron won a $279 million verdict against DJI Technology for patent infringement related to drone flight control systems, although DJI strongly disagreed with the result.
