Chinese online retailer JD has lowered its free-delivery minimum order for one-hour delivery services to RMB 29 ($4.01), shortly after the e-commerce titan set on-demand services as one of its “must-win battles” in 2024. This type of business, a key offering mainly provided by China’s internet companies including JD, aims to efficiently deliver a wide range of products local consumers order online within one hour.
