(ECNS) — Officials from the Finance Department of China’s Ministry of Commerce on Friday welcomed opinions and suggestions from industry and academic experts regarding the increase in import tariffs on fuel-powered cars with large-displacement engines, according to the ministry.

Representatives from relevant industry organizations, research institutions, and automobile companies attended the meeting.
