A 5-year-old boy died after a mini-truck ran over him in Wazirpur Industrial Area in Delhi.

In the CCTV footage of the incident, the boy can be seen running to the other side of the street, when he stumbles down, following which a mini-truck runs him over.

The mini-truck then stops for a few seconds, before fleeing from the location.

Locals rescued the child and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.

Police said that the incident took place on Monday.

The driver of the mini-truck has been arrested and further investigation is on, police said.
