China Post Group recently established a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) subsidiary in Beijing, as the state-owned postal service giant of China aims to boost the low-altitude drone economy, according to the business data platform Tinayancha. The new drone firm, backed by a registered capital of RMB 100 million ($13.7 million), is responsible for the manufacturing of intelligent UAVs, R&D of intelligent robots, AI hardware sales, and AI application systems.
