Upon receiving a complaint about the social media posts, a team of Bareilly Police launched an investigation and Raza was arrested on Saturday, January 11.

After Raza’s arrest, the Bareilly Police also released a video of him where he can be seen apologising for his social media posts and promising not to write any inappropriate comments in future.
“I will not post anything in the future. I made a mistake. Please forgive me. I will respect everyone, sir…,” Raza can be heard saying in the video.
