Agility’s VC meets Industries Minister at Telangana pavilion in Davos

Vice chairman and CEO of Agility and chairman of the Board of Agility Global, Tarek Sultan, met with Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Telangana Pavilion in the State delegation’s first meeting at World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conference2025 on Tuesday (January 21, 2025). Agility, a global leader in supply chain services, infrastructure and innovation, has a footprint in six continents headquartered in Kuwait.

During the meeting, Mr. Sridhar Babu emphasised, “Our government’s focus is on farmers and sustainably, and increasing their income.” Earlier, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Union Ministers declared open Telangana Pavilion at the WEF in Davos on Tuesday (January 21) after they inaugurated India Pavilion. In a post made on X, Revanth Reddy said, “On behalf of Telangana, we promised to contribute $1 trillion to the Indian economy in the next few years.”

Mr. Sridhar Babu urged industrialists to invest in Telangana, highlighting the State’s ongoing development across various sectors. He emphasised that the government is prioritising skill development and has achieved significant progress in areas such as biotechnology, and agro-processing. He also noted that Telangana ranks first in the country in terms of per capita income.
