After Rajpal Yadav & Remo D’Souza, Comedian Kapil Sharma Gets Death Threat

After Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D’Souza, now comedian Kapil Sharma has also received a death threat.

The person who issued the threat warned of killing Kapil Sharma, his family members, colleagues, relatives, and neighbors as well.

In this regard, the Amboli police have filed a case under section 351(3) of the BNS Act against an unknown individual and have initiated an investigation.

How it all began?

Earlier, Rajpal Yadav, singer Sughanda Mishra and chorerographer-director Remo D’Souza received death threats via mail and the person who sent these threats is reportedly named Bishnu.

Mumbai Police has begun an investigation into the matter.

As per an India TV report, which quoted Mumbai Police sources close to the development, the content of the threat email received by the three celebrities read, “We are monitoring your activities and want to put this in your knowledge that this is not a publicity stunt.”

As per the same report, all three artists received the threat at different times.

Past death threats in Bollywood

This is not the first time Bollywood celebrities have received threats in the industry. Last year was mired with threats as celebrities such as Salman Khan, AP Dhillon and Shah Rukh Khan became targets.

In case of mega stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang took full responsibility for the threats. They even went ahead to fire shots at Salman’s Mumbai residence.

In Shah Rukh Khan’s threat case, the death threat was received from a number registered in the name of a man named Faizan from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur. Shah Rukh Khan’s team has registered a complaint with the Bandra Police.

The threat call was made on a landline number and was received by a Mumbai cop on November 5. The man identified himself as “Hindustani” and asked for Rs 50 lakh.
