Saif Ali Khan Attack: Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane has raised doubts about the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan after he was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. Rane questioned if the attack was real or if Khan was acting.
Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday, five days after he was stabbed six times by an intruder who has been identified as a Bangladeshi national. Wearing a white shirt and blue denim, the actor was seen waving at his fans and the media as he was on his way to his home from the hospital.
“Saif was seen outside the house in such a way…. Was he really attacked with a knife or it was some acting…it is doubtful…how he was going into the house dancing,” Rane said.
Rane, known for making controversial comments, sparked a major row last month after he labelled Kerala as “mini-Pakistan”.
Is Saif’s Immune System So Strong: Sanjay Nirupam
Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam questioned the “quick” recovery of the Bollywood actor. In a post on X, Nirupam wrote, “The doctors said that the knife had penetrated 2.5 inches inside Saif Ali Khan’s back. Probably it was trapped inside. The operation continued for 6 hours continuously. All this happened on 16th January. Today is 21st January. So fit as soon as you got out of the hospital? In just 5 days?”
Later, talking to news agency PTI, Nirupam said, “I know that Saif Ali Khan is physically very fit, goes to gym regularly but is his immune system so strong that he can recover in four days.”
