Ace Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is much in the news again, but this time due to his personal life. A report by a leading media house speculated trouble in Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat‘s personal lives, after it was noted that the couple has unfollowed each other on social media. Virendra Sehwag and Aarti are married for 20 years, and this development has lead to rumours of their divorce.
Virender Sehwag and Aarti Ahlawat got married in 2004, and they have two sons together: Aryaveer, who was born in 2007, and Vedant, who was born in 2010.
While Sehwag still has old posts and pictures of the couple together, it is noted that in the last few months he hasn’t posted any pictures with his wife. For instance, in Diwali 2024, he posted pictures with his sons and mother, however, Aarti was missing in the pictures. More recently, he posted his pictures after visiting the Vishwa Nagayakshi temple in Palakkad, Kerala. However, again, Aarti was missing in the pictures. Meanwhile, Aarti Ahlawat has a private account on social media.
Rumours are rife on social media that Virender Sehwag and his wife Aarti Ahlawat are separating after 20 years of togetherness, however, both Virender and Aarti haven’t commented on it or issued any statement yet.

Some other high-profile celebs who made the headlines in the past for their grey divorce include: AR Rahman and Saira Banu, Malaika Arora and Arabaaz Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Sussane Khan, Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, Jeff Bezoz and MacKenzie Scott, among others.
On the work front, Virender Sehwag is known to be one of the best openers ever in Indian cricket. During his career in the Indian cricket team, he played 104 Tests and 251 ODIs; with his career best score being 319.
