SMIC’s revenue topped billion in 2024, up 27% y-o-y · TechNode

Chinese foundry SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation) released its 2024 fourth quarter financial results on Tuesday. According to its unaudited financial data, the company reported $8.03 billion in revenue for 2024, up 27% year-on-year, with a gross margin of 18%. The company said its monthly production capacity of 8-inch wafers stood at 948,000 by the end of 2024. Last year, SMIC shipped over eight million wafers, with an annual average capacity utilization rate of 85.6%, the report claimed. [SMIC, in Chinese]
