ByteDance formally launched the Chinese language model of Trae, China’s first AI-native built-in improvement surroundings (AI IDE), on March 3, based on Chinese language media outlet Yicai. The platform is powered by Doubao-1.5-Professional and permits customers to change between DeepSeek’s R1 and V3 fashions. Beforehand launched abroad with GPT-4o and Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Trae presents comparable performance in China. It helps clever code completion, bug fixing, and pure language-based code era. The home model has a builder mode, enabling builders to create functions by describing what they need to do in plain language. Optimized for the Chinese language improvement ecosystem, Trae will quickly help customized mannequin integration.
