
The petition was filed by Muhammed Iqbal, father of the deceased boy who too was a Class 10 scholar. Terming the JJB’s choice as unjust, unlawful, and arbitrary and in violation of basic rights, Mr. Iqbal alleged that the Board had failed to think about the truth that the 5 college students may tamper with proof and intimidate witnesses. Additionally, fellow college students who have been writing the exams can be “mentally affected” by their presence, he argued.
