Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday stated that the document variety of devotees taking a holy dip on the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj throughout Maha Kumbh proved naysayers unsuitable. He stated that over 66 crore folks visiting the Mahakumbh proved that it was a profitable occasion organised on a grand scale.

Notably, after the January 29 stampede on the Mahakumbh, which killed 30 folks and injured many others, a number of opposition leaders questioned safety preparations on the occasion, with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee calling it a “Mrityu Kumbh”.
