Paris:
French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday hailed the “progress” made in peace talks in Saudi Arabia between Ukraine and the USA and stated it was now as much as Russia to make sure a ceasefire is signed.

“The ball is now clearly within the Russian courtroom,” Macron stated on X, including that progress had been made within the Jeddah talks “specifically on the concept of a doable 30-day ceasefire”.
