BJP, Trinamool Congress commerce ‘communal violence’ barbs forward of Ram Navami


As West Bengal prepares for Ram Navami in 2025, political tensions have escalated, with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) accusing one another of inciting communal violence.

BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul has raised issues about potential unrest, claiming that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will try to impress riots and later blame Hindus for political achieve. She urged Hindu communities to stay cautious and guarantee rallies stay peaceable.

“Mamata Banerjee will attempt to incite communal violence throughout Ram Navami after which blame Hindus. I urge Hindus to not fall into this entice and conduct rallies peacefully,” Paul acknowledged. Responding swiftly, the TMC dismissed Paul’s claims and as an alternative accused the BJP of making an attempt to stoke communal tensions within the state. Senior TMC chief Jay Prakash Majumdar pointed fingers at BJP chief Suvendu Adhikari, holding him liable for any unrest which will happen.

“If the BJP is already anticipating riots, who is definitely making an attempt to create them? It’s Suvendu Adhikari who’s making an attempt to incite violence, and if something occurs, he needs to be arrested,” Majumdar stated. He additional accused the BJP of hypocrisy, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogan of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” whereas state BJP leaders allegedly push divisive narratives.
