A person stabbed his girlfriend on the streets of Southwest Delhi in full public view. Later, he stabbed himself as effectively.

The incident occurred on the streets of the Delhi Cantt space at Kirbi Place bus cease at 9:30pm on Sunday.

Based on the police, Amit, 20, and the 19-year-old lady have been buddies for the previous one 12 months. Not too long ago, some points arose between them each, resulting in fallout.

Folks current on the scene instantly referred to as the police. Each had been admitted to DDU Hospital and are beneath therapy.

“The lady was stabbed and sustained accidents to her neck and the left aspect of the stomach. Each had been hospitalised and are beneath therapy,” a police officer stated.

Based on a PTI report, a 45-second video, purportedly of the incident, made rounds on social media, displaying the person and the girl sitting on the highway divider in a bloodied state and a crowd gathered round them.

A case has been registered beneath the related part of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at PS Delhi Cantt. Additional investigations are underway.
