A senior BBMP official stated the BTP, after depositing ₹8 lakh demand draft, had secured permission to put in the railing, however the BBMP is unaware that this has resulted in inconvenience to the pedestrians. The BBMP will examine the place and do needed preparations to resolve the issue, the official added.
