A 24-year-old man right here has been arrested for allegedly killing his 10-year-old sister-in-law to take revenge on his spouse for leaving the home, police mentioned on Wednesday.

Subsequently, the complainant’s son-in-law, Mohit Kumar, a local of Bihar’s Munger district, was arrested from Bajghera, they added.

The accused instructed the interrogators that he has been married for six years and has a baby, however his spouse has left their home. He mentioned he had instructed his in-laws about it however they didn’t pay any consideration. He admitted that he had as soon as tried to strangle his father-in-law and was planning to take revenge on his in-laws.

“The accused revealed that on Saturday, he took his sister-in-law, Sania, to his room in Bajghera from Om Nagar on his bike and strangled her to dying. After this, he stuffed the physique in a plastic bag, wrapped a scarf round it, put the bag in a sack and threw it into the primary gap of the Bajghera drain. We’re questioning the accused,” a spokesperson of the Gurugram Police mentioned.

With the assistance of the State Catastrophe Response Drive (SDRF), police retrieved the physique from the drain and the penal provision for homicide was added to the FIR, a senior officer mentioned.
