Saudi Arabia is actively encouraging tech producers with operations in China to relocate to the Arabian Peninsula. The three firms are at varied phases of establishing manufacturing services in or round Riyadh. Lenovo has introduced plans to construct a PC and server meeting plant within the capital, backed by a $2 billion funding from a subsidiary of the Public Funding Fund (PIF).
