A Sri Lankan Airways flight that bonded to Colombo from Tamil Nadu’s Chennai was subjected to a “complete safety search” on the airport, following a safety alert relating to a wished suspect issued by Indian authorities. 

In response to the assertion launched by airline stated that Flight UL 122, operated by plane 4R-ALS, underwent a radical safety examine upon arriving in Colombo from Chennai at 11:59 hrs on Could 3.

“The search was carried out in coordination with native authorities following an alert from the Chennai Space Management Centre relating to a suspect wished in India who was believed to be on board,” the assertion added.

Though no menace was detected throughout the search, the obligatory safety procedures brought on a delay within the airline’s subsequent scheduled flight, UL 308 to Singapore.

Sri Lankan Airways assured passengers that their security and safety stay the airline’s highest precedence, “we attempt to make sure that the best requirements of security are persistently maintained,” they stated, ANI reported.
