“There was a pair crossing the highway with their canine. The van hit each individuals. The woman landed on the ground and he ran over her,” witness Sandra Liberatore stated.

The couple’s teenage son arrived on the scene to search out his mother and father injured. 

“He was in tears … he was simply inconsolable,” Liberatore stated.
