Thirty-two airports throughout northern and western components of the nation, together with Srinagar and Amritsar, have been closed for civilian flight operations until Could 15, in line with the civil aviation regulator.

Earlier, at the least 24 airports had been ordered shut for civilian flight operations until Could 10.
In the meantime, the AAI has prolonged the momentary closure of 25 segments of Air Visitors Service (ATS) routes inside the Delhi and Mumbai Flight Info Areas (FIRs) because of “operational causes.” “The 25 route segments will stay unavailable from floor stage to limitless altitude till 2359 UTC on 14th Could 2025 (which corresponds to 0529 IST on fifteenth Could 2025),” DGCA stated.
Due to the closure of those segments, the regulator has suggested airways and flight operators to plan alternate routes.
The momentary closure is being managed in coordination with related ATC items to make sure security and minimise disruption, it added.
