
J.J. Spaun has powered by way of the robust course situations, horrible climate and warmth of competitors to win the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Nation Membership on Sunday.
Spaun, who turned professional in 2012 and has only one PGA Tour win underneath his belt, has captured his first main of his profession at a course that consumed a few of the sport’s largest stars.
He did so in dramatic trend, too, as Spaun closed the door with a birdie on the 18th, an extended, winding putt from 64 ft to safe the victory. It was the longest putt made by anybody within the area over 4 rounds.
Spaun shot 66-72-69-72 to complete his week as the one participant underneath par at Oakmont.
