Operation Sindhu: 290 Indians Safely Evacuated from Iran Amid Israel Battle, Arrive in Delhi


A particular flight carrying 290 Indians evacuated from conflict-hit Iran landed safely in New Delhi on Saturday night time as a part of the Indian authorities’s ‘Operation Sindhu’ to carry its residents again from the battle zone. Up to now, 1,117 folks have been evacuated as a part of the continuing operation.

In a put up on X, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) said, “Operation Sindhu positive factors momentum. 290 Indian nationals have returned house safely from Iran on a particular flight from Mashhad that landed in New Delhi at 2330 hrs on 21 June 2025. With this, 1,117 Indian nationals have been evacuated from Iran.”

 

The evacuated folks, whereas recalling their expertise within the battle zone, praised the Indian authorities for his or her immediate motion.

A resident of Bihar’s Siwan, learning drugs at Tehran College of Medical Sciences, termed the state of affairs in Tehran as important and thanked the federal government for the evacuation.

“I’m from Siwan, Bihar. I’ve been in Iran for the final 2 years. I research drugs at Tehran College of Medical Sciences. The state of affairs in Tehran is important. Different locations are regular. I’m grateful to the federal government (for the evacuation),” ANI quoted him as saying.

Naveed, a resident of Kashmir, stated that he was feeling good after reaching India. “I’m from Kashmir. I’m a 2nd-year MBBS scholar. I really feel superb now. I’m grateful to India. They evacuated us,” ANI quoted Naveed as saying.

Momin Ushtaq, a resident of Kashmir, stated that the state of affairs will not be good in Iran and praised the federal government’s efforts to evacuate them from the battle zone.

“I’m from Kashmir. The state of affairs will not be good there. We’re very grateful to the federal government of India, Kashmir, and the Embassy. They deserve particular thanks, as they evacuated us and introduced us again house,” ANI quoted Momin Ushtaq as saying.

Indira Kumari added, “We have now returned. I’m grateful to the Indian authorities and the Prime Minister of India.”
