An aerobridge has ripped into the engine of a Qantas A380 superjumbo at Sydney Airport.
Tons of of passengers have been already on board the airbus this morning prepared to move to Johannesburg, when the aerobridge crashed into the aircraft and pierced the engine.
The passengers will likely be placed on a flight tomorrow morning after a 21-hour delay.
The airline has supplied passengers lodging for the night time in the event that they want it.
No person was injured however passengers needed to get off the aircraft.
Qantas stated it’s investigating and apologised to prospects inconvenienced by the accident.
