Amid sustained heavy inflows from upstream reservoirs, the Pulichintala Undertaking on the Krishna River continues to keep up excessive discharge ranges to control water storage and guarantee reservoir security.
As of 9:00 a.m. ,the Pulichintala Undertaking is receiving a complete influx of two,51,259 cusecs, all of which is being launched downstream. These inflows are being absolutely contributed by NSTP (Nagarjuna Sagar Tail Pond), with no direct catchment influx or contribution from the Musi River reported.
The present water stage at Pulichintala stands at 52.13 meters (171.03 toes), barely beneath the Full Reservoir Stage (FRL) of 53.34 meters (175 toes).
