Twenty vacationers had been left stranded contained in the Ranthambore Nationwide Park on Saturday (August 16, 2025) night after their safari car (canter) broke down mid-route and the accompanying information left them to fetch one other car, officers stated.

The matter got here to gentle after purported movies of the incident surfaced, prompting the park administration to take motion. Three canter drivers and the information have been barred from coming into the park until the probe is accomplished, Deputy Conservator of Forests (DCF) Pramod Dhakad advised PTI on Sunday.

He stated Assistant Conservator of Forests Ashwini Pratap has been assigned to conduct an in depth inquiry.

“These restricted embrace canter drivers Kanhaiya, Shehzad Choudhary and Liaqat Ali, together with information Mukesh Kumar Bairwa,” Mr. Dhakad stated.

The incident occurred in Zone 6 of the park. The car broke down whereas carrying 20 vacationers, after which the information left to carry a substitute, taking almost half an hour. With darkness falling, heated exchanges broke out between vacationers and the information, elements of which had been recorded.
