Israel’s Ramon Airport close to the southern metropolis of Eilat resumed operations after being briefly shut on Sunday when a drone launched from Yemen struck the arrivals corridor.

Two folks have been injured by shrapnel, the nationwide ambulance service stated.

“Following the completion of all security and safety checks, compliance with worldwide civil aviation requirements, and receipt of ultimate approval from the Air Pressure — Ramon Airport has now been reopened for full operations, for each departures and arrivals,” Israel’s Airports Authority stated in a press release.
