Hyderabad: The division of heritage has obtained 10 silver cash found in Cheemalapeta village of Pedapalli district. District officers handed over the cash to Prof. Okay. Arjun Rao, director of the heritage division. The cash, every weighing about 10 grams, date again to the Nizam period.
Of the ten cash, two belong to the reign of the sixth Nizam, Mir Mahboob Ali Khan (1869–1911), and 7 to the seventh Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan (1911–1948). The cash bear Urdu inscriptions and have the Charminar image. Officers stated the gathering was recovered from a heritage constructing owned by an area household. The cash shall be preserved and displayed on the State Archaeology Museum, the division stated.
