West Bengal Chief of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari sat on a protest contained in the Chandrakona police station, demanding registration of an FIR after he alleged that his convoy was attacked by Trinamool Congress employees at Paschim Medinipur on Saturday evening.
He demanded the registration of an FIR towards these answerable for the assault, alleging that the TMC is making an attempt to eradicate the BJP from the state.
“We’re right here for justice… The elections aren’t far. These persons are about to lose. They need to demolish the BJP… TMC Youth Wing President, TMC Labour Union chief… have been there… I’ve given the names of the concerned… I’m urging that an FIR must be registered, and these individuals must be arrested…,” Adhiakri advised ANI.
Earlier, the BJP chief alleged that TMC employees attacked his convoy on Chandrakona Highway in Paschim Medinipur district on Saturday evening.

Earlier on Saturday, West Bengal BJP President Samik Bhattacharya mentioned that there’s a “complete breakdown of constitutional equipment” within the state.
Chatting with ANI, Bhattacharya demanded that the custodians of the Structure intervene instantly to make sure regulation and order is maintained.
“What is going on in West Bengal isn’t solely the absence of regulation and order. It tantamounts to the full breakdown of constitutional equipment. The demand of the hour is that the custodians of the Structure ought to intervene instantly,” he said.
