The Catholic Bishops’ Convention of India (CBCI), the apex physique of the Catholic Church within the nation, has elected new workplace bearers throughout its thirty seventh normal physique assembly held on February 7. The newly elected management will serve a time period of two years. Cardinal Poola Anthony, Archbishop of Hyderabad, has been elected President of the CBCI.
Thomas Mar Koorilos, Archbishop of Tiruvalla, was elected vp–first, whereas Mathew Moolakkatt, Archbishop of Kottayam, was chosen as vp–Second. Anil Couto was re-elected as secretary normal of the CBCI.
