A 22-year-old man was arrested right here for posting a video on Prime Minister Narendra Modi wherein objectionable remarks have been purportedly made towards him, police stated on Sunday.

Charthawal police station SHO Satyanarayan Dahiya instructed reporters that the accused has been recognized as Jitendra Kumar Kashyap.

Dahiya stated that police have registered a case towards Kashyap below Sections 352 (intentional insult with intent to impress breach of peace) and 353 (statements conducing to public mischief) of BNS and arrested him.

In keeping with the police, they made the arrest on Saturday night after the video of the prime minister went viral on social media.
