ED arrests I-PAC co-founder in Bengal coal rip-off probe forward of meeting polls


The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday arrested Vinesh Chandel, director and co-founder of political consultancy agency Indian Political Motion Committee, in reference to a money-laundering case linked to an alleged coal rip-off in West Bengal, weeks forward of the Meeting elections.

Chandel was taken into custody beneath the Prevention of Cash Laundering Act (PMLA) in New Delhi late within the night and is predicted to be produced earlier than a particular courtroom, the place the company will search his custodial remand for additional questioning.
