District Collector Dr. A. Siri on Sunday (Might 3, 2026) points Preventive Detention orders in opposition to two routine Illicitly Distilled (ID) liquor offenders from the district. The Collector invoked the provisions underneath Part 3 (1) of the Andhra Pradesh Prevention of Harmful Actions of Bootleggers, Bandits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Site visitors Offenders and Land Encroachers Act, 1986 in opposition to the bootleggers.

The 2 accused have been recognized as Satupati Krishna of Maddikera Village underneath Pathikonda Excise Station limits and Telugu Ramadasu of Kollampalli Thanda in Kallur mandal underneath Kurnool Excise Station.
