Modelhas admitted she spent £4,000 to have “vaginoplasty”.
The star, 40, confessed to having the cosmetic procedure after two natural childbirths left her unable to jog or play with her kids as she feared her leaky bladder.
However, she insists that as well as curing the embarrassing leak, having the op has even helped to boost her sex life.
The procedure, known as vaginal rejuvenation, is not offered on thebut is the world’s fastest growing cosmetic procedure.
Experts think that it’s become so popular partly because of porn and women looking to copy the unrealistic bodies on display. But many women like Nicola have had the surgery for health reasons.
According to, Nicola said: “I’ve wanted it done for years. It’s been getting worse as I’m getting older so I thought, ‘I need to do something about this now’.
“Having to worry that I’m going to wet myself when I’m just about to sneeze — I’m too young to live like this.
“I’d love to play with the kids on the trampoline, but I had to tell them I couldn’t because I’d wee myself.”
The procedure, which is nicknamed the “designer vagina” and costs around £4,000, works by tightening a woman’s vaginal muscles to alter the length or width of her vaginal canal.
The two main reasons for doing so are to increase sexual pleasure or prevent incontinence.
Intimate health specialist Dr Shirin Lakhani says this type of surgery is becoming more and more popular and people were reluctant to talk about it in years gone by.
She said: “We’re in an age now where we don’t have to put up with symptoms that are having a direct impact on our life.
“Women shouldn’t be embarrassed to say they want greater sexual pleasure — and safe treatment of incontinence can be life changing.”
Formercontestant Nicola is hoping to help break the taboo of talking about incontinence in younger women after childbirth.
Her revelation comes two years after former TOWIE starand described her treatment, which was non-surgical, as leaving her downstairs area looking “like something you see in a movie”.
Nicola confessed: “The GC was speaking about it a while ago and I thought, ‘She hasn’t got any kids, I need to look into this’.
“Gemma said it was brilliant and I think she’s brilliant so it went from there.”
She went on to admit her pelvic floors just weren’t “what they used to be” so any kind of pressure left her feeling at risk of incontinence.
Nicola admitted it wasn’t an easy decision to have to procedure but said it “needed to be done”.
And she revealed it was “pain free” before adding: “My pelvic floor function is so much better, it’s like I never had children.
“I can now bounce on the trampoline with my kids again without weeing myself.”
