No response has been issued but from the Trinamool Congress or the West Bengal authorities on the allegations raised.
The Waqf (Modification) Invoice was handed by the Lok Sabha on Thursday and subsequently cleared by the Rajya Sabha within the early hours of Friday, following marathon debates in each Homes of Parliament. President Droupadi Murmu gave her assent to the Invoice on Saturday, formally enacting it into regulation.
