The Golden Temple in Punjab’s Amritsar obtained a bomb risk on Monday, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) stated in a police grievance.

Amritsar Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar stated that the police obtained a grievance concerning an e mail threatening a blast within the Golden Temple.

“We obtained a grievance from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) authorities that they’ve obtained an e mail threatening a blast within the Golden Temple…We’re taking the assistance of the state cybercrime and different businesses,” the Police Commissioner instructed ANI.

He added that the police will crack the case and guarantee safety.

Commissioner Bhullar stated, “We’re hopeful that we are going to crack the case quickly. We’re taking this case very significantly. We’re guaranteeing foolproof safety. There is no such thing as a have to get panicked.”

The police have registered an FIR within the matter and launched an investigation.

Based on Amritsar police, bomb disposal squads (BDS), SGPC power and extra safety forces have been deployed across the premises. Authorities have assured the general public that every one mandatory precautions are being taken to make sure security and safety.

Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar stated that the police have appealed to the general public to stay calm and report any suspicious exercise instantly.
