The Melbourne Storm has apologised for the late cancellation of a Welcome to Nation ceremony which had been scheduled to be held previous to its Anzac Day match.
Wurundjeri elder Aunty Pleasure Murphy Wandin had been on the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium to carry out the ceremony earlier than the Storm’s sport on April 25, however the ceremony didn’t go forward.
