As a part of the initiative, photo voltaic panels have been put in free of price in 1,600 households inside simply 45 days, at a complete price of ₹20.68 crore. The funding included ₹10.19 crore from the Central Authorities beneath the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and ₹10.49 crore from the State Authorities.

District collector Dr Venkateswar S expressed happiness over the popularity and credited the achievement to the teamwork of officers and the assist of the State and Central Governments.
