Telangana Jagruthi president Ok. Kavitha demanded that the staff of Singareni Collieries Firm Restricted (SCCL) be paid bonus from the gross revenue earned by the general public sector in 2024-25 fiscal.

Talking in Srirampur of Mancherial district after taking part in Bathukamma celebrations on Tuesday, she alleged that the State authorities meted out a uncooked deal to SCCL staff by asserting a mere 34% revenue share bonus from the SCCL’s web earnings throughout 2024-25 monetary 12 months.

It will entail big loss to every employee of the SCCL, she alleged. She demanded that the State authorities clear almost ₹42,000 crore dues it owed to the SCCL. She accused the Congress authorities of attempting to safe big loans from a public sector entity and venturing into gold and copper exploration in Karnataka with out specializing in opening new coal mines to spice up the monetary energy of the corporate.
