An NYPD police officer was injured Thursday making an attempt to apprehend a suspect needed for assault when the person threw an object that struck the officer within the head at a Bronx subway station, cops stated.
The cop suffered a minor laceration after he was hit by an unknown object within the mezzanine on the Fordham Road subway station close to E. 188th St. in Fordham round 5:24 p.m., in response to regulation enforcement officers.
