Aam Aadmi Occasion MP Sanjay Singh on Sunday (April 26, 2026) submitted a petition to Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan searching for the disqualification of seven occasion MPs within the Higher Home who lately give up the AAP and introduced their merger with the BJP.

Addressing a press convention, Mr. Singh claimed the transfer by the seven Rajya Sabha MPs amounted to defection because it was towards the provisions of the anti-defection legislation.
