Azharuddin, Kodandaram Nominated to Telangana Legislative Council


Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Sunday nominated former Indian cricket captain and minister Mohammad Azharuddin to the Telangana Legislative Council below the Governor’s quota. He additionally nominated Prof. M. Kodandaram, founding father of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS), for one more seat. A authorities order issued on Sunday confirmed each nominations.

The choice adopted a courtesy name and formal request from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who met the Governor at Lok Bhavan on April 19 to induce decision of the pending nominations.
