The Dakshina Kannada District Ex-servicemen Affiliation has sought assist from the general public for reconstructing a retaining wall of its constructing that was broken following heavy rain on Could 28, 2025.

Speaking to reporters right here on Thursday, Group Captain (retired) Sudhir G. Amin, a member of the affiliation, stated the retaining wall overlooking the sports activities floor of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be College) was constructed at a value of ₹25 lakh by the affiliation in 2023. On account of heavy rain on Could 28, a portion of the retaining wall collapsed. The harm has uncovered the inspiration of the constructing, and there was a menace that the entire constructing might collapse.
