Medak: 4 individuals have been arrested after a new child child was allegedly bought for ₹1.5 lakh after the mom was falsely instructed that the kid had died.
In keeping with police, Nasra Fatima, a seven-month pregnant girl from Moula Ali in Secunderabad, had travelled to her in-laws’ place in Lakshminagar Thanda of Papannapet mandal in Medak district. Whereas there, she was attacked by monkeys after they observed a packet of chips in her hand. She fell in the course of the assault and suffered extreme bleeding, following which a good friend rushed her to a close-by hospital.
After present process surgical procedure, she delivered a child lady. Nevertheless, a nurse recognized as Aktari Begum allegedly instructed the mom that the new child had died quickly after delivery. Fatima was discharged after three days and returned to Medak 5 days later.
In a dramatic flip, an unidentified individual knowledgeable her that her child was really alive. Shocked, she approached the police and lodged a criticism.
In the course of the investigation, police discovered that the nurse had handed over the infant to a girl named Nasreen Unnisa, who then facilitated the sale of the toddler to some from Siddipet—Mohammed Iqbaluddin and Nadia Sultana—for ₹1.5 lakh.
Police have arrested the nurse, the middleman, and the couple who bought the infant. Additional investigation is underway.
