A 50-year-old girl sustained accidents after a country-made gun unintentionally went off on Friday (April 24, 2026).

The girl, Ok. Selvi, is a resident of Pazhanthinnipatti, close to Vennandur. Her 17-year-old son, who had discontinued his research and had been engaged on their farm, was cleansing a country-made gun – which he had been utilizing to hunt animals – on Friday, when it unintentionally went off. His mom, Selvi, who was close by, sustained accidents to her again and neck.
