Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya continued his long-standing Diwali tradition by visiting his ancestral grocery shop in Nanda Nagar, Indore, to sell items on Dhanteras. He personally weighed groceries for customers at the store. This shop which holds historical significance is currently managed by his mother, Ayodhya Devi Vijayvargiya.

One unique aspect of Vijayvargiya’s shop is that every year during Diwali he weighs goods for his customers. It is a custom that has become part of the family tradition.

Responding to media questions, he explained that this shop is a financial lifeline for his family. Each Diwali, he sits at the shop to uphold his tradition and strengthen bonds with residents. While working at the store, he served customers and offered Diwali greetings to all.

Describing the history of his shop, he told news agency ANI, “This is our ancestral shop. My father had started this shop with milk, tea leaves, sugar, and jaggery. Gradually, the demand of customers increased and now our shop is well known. I am proud to say that our customers now are third-generation customers.”

Vijayvargiya Takes Jibe At Rahul Gandhi

Kailash Vijayvargiya took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, saying, “Being Rahul Gandhi isn’t easy. You put in potatoes here and get gold on the other side. Open a jalebi factory — only Rahul Gandhi can do such a thing. No one can match him.”

Vijayvargiya also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that this is the first time China has taken a step back, and he congratulated PM Modi on this significant achievement. The remarks of Vijayvargiya align with the stance of the BJP, which views Modi’s foreign policy as effective.

Vijayvargiya also took a swipe at Priyanka Gandhi’s statement in Wayanad, questioning the credibility of Congress leaders’ statements through satirical comments. This reflects his political experience and sharp rhetorical style, further stirring the political scene.
